The path to wellbeing
The right side
But the left side
holds its own.
What I can't do is decide.
So I decide vegetarian.
I decide pescatarian for tonight's meal.
and the menu
I was listening to a podcast the other day and someone was talking about how she went through a period in her life when she "wanted SO MUCH to look at more than just the left side of the menu."
She said it with such longing...
"The left side of the menu"
as if the right side was...
So when you're watching this video
where did all my friends go?
and why do I get all my coffee from home now?
Here's what happened:
I moved out of state
gave up my corporate job
and Started a Business.
All my friends
live hundreds of miles away
There are moments you know
someone is bullsh*tt!ng you.
And moments you realize
somebody just handed you a gift.
Even if it's a weird gift
it's still better than getting lied to.
So next time you're flossing...
or catching a whiff of a sour smell that comes from NOT...
You can convince yourself of anything. It's a process can be applied anywhere in your life.
"I [emotion] [object]."
Repeat the words over and over.
For example: I [don't like] [ice cream]
I told myself (in my head or even aloud if it wasn't in too...
Ever wondered why corn is considered a starch and not a vegetable?
Try cutting some fresh from the cob...uncooked.
You'll notice all this cloudy white liquid - almost like cold semen.
The visual is disturbing on a couple of levels.
The first time I ever knowingly ate corn fresh...
I went in to the dentist thinking I'd get my teeth whitened...and came out better. But it wasn't in the way I was expecting.
Since that day, I've looked and looked for a dentist chair similar to the one I was sitting in.
It really was spectacular.
And so was the advice I received.
